Let’s start with universal healthcare for all children 21 and younger including dental care .

I inherited a genetic mutation for familial dilated cardiomyopathy. A heart transplant costs about $1 million! I am on a transplant list and currently have health insurance through my spouse but if I didn’t I would just die early and my gifts would die with me. Everyone who needs an organ transplant should get it free but we should acclimate to it by starting with children even if it we must raise the highest marginal tax rate to 45%. Once parents have this benefit they won’t want to give it up. This should include undocumented immigrant children who have lived here at least one year. The health care might be contingent on high school graduation. What do you think Van?

What is the Corrupt Character?

I find it sad – but not surprising – that in the midst of discussions regarding prison and immigration reform, racism and terrorism, and all other forms of violence, suffering and hurt, that one of the most recognizable and privileged of western society’s men, and the current commerce secretary says he doesn't "...really quite understand why" federal workers are utilizing food banks and contemplating or choosing not to go to work “unpaid” and that "...credit should be easily available”. Like many of the privileged, however that privilege was earned (if at all), who we truly are is often best seen not just in what we do and say, but often in what we do not…GOD help and forgive us!

cnn show Re:excongressmen- drown in thimbleful of water

Today you shamelessly let the New Yorker get away. You are smart. But I think this show has introduced hallucinogens in your cognition- or allowed you to pay homage to money. In the matter of the "WALL"- there is no 2 sides coming together all that can be and should be given has been given by the Democrats. Mconnell needs to bring the matters to vote- then get veto proof votes. Mcconnells attitude $5.7 is pittance- it can pay hunger schools in inner city with better teachers- student debt-Flint and water etc...-NO!No! you let them get away by saying it is ok to say Democrats need to compromise- they have done it all(given $1.7B both sides agreed)- the wall money was thrown in the mix against DACA and is being used as a dog whistle the "fine " "people" of the Republican base to keep "our values".I am sure Ivy League grad knows what"values" means. You shrank today- careful you may drown in a thimbleful of water.

What Silicon Valley is not telling you:

I have been sending stuff on this subject. I have been a minority in silicon valley for a long time. I have seen when there were 6% latino and 6% african-american scientists/engineers. With more graduating from from universities than ever before the percentage is a COMBINED 5%. Silicon Valley is now 70 to 75 percent foreign born. It was less than 50 percent 8 years ago. It is time to look at cultural influences that happen at the level of the hiring manager. I have worked with groups and seen groups are that are 75 to 100 percent from the same province if not country. This is especially true with full time enployees over contractors. You have to look at who is in the cafeteria and the team meeting rooms. Company heads will tell you the company policy but you will need to talk to people who have actually gone through the interviewing process. Many of us have known about the trend in the following article for over a decade: https://www.stltoday.com/opinion/columnists/silicon-valley-is-using-h--b-visas-to-crowd/article_2c3ac63c-360a-5c79-88b2-729d8673aa28.html Long time fan of your show, keep up the awesome work. degree in computer science, member mensa, over 20 years of experience most in silicon valley.

Trump, Jared, Flynn, and Putin.

So, Jared needs just a billion dollars and makes friends with MBS. Flynn takes $600k from Turkey and joins up with Trump. Trump never expects to get elected and works a hotel deal with Putin. Trump accidentally gets elected because of Putin, but then cannot deliver on the lifting of sanctions. Flynn and his buddies fail to deliver the cleric to Turkey. So, Trump pulls out of Syria, that shuts up Turkey cause they can now take over our allies, the Kurds. It also is a good down payment for Putin. But, Putin asks for us to leave Afghanistan, which Trump also does. So, MBS will loan Jared his billion, Trumps two hotels in Turkey are safe and they shut up about the murder. Finally, when Trump, resigns soon he gets his hotel in Russia.

Wrong nationality

My name is Ole Nygaard. I am retired after 32 years in The Danish Air Force. 15 of these were during The Cold War. I was never prepared to die for my country, but for an idea. I have lived in 7 countries, 4 states and 2 provinces, now in British Columbia and at my cottage in the Swedish woods. I would love to help, but imagine the spin wrong people could create, if they knew a citizen of a ridiculed and despised country like Denmark, living in a country, where the Prime Minister is reserved a special place in Hell, supported a democratic candidate. I will add, however, that both countries are pleasant to live in, despite, or perhaps because of, our liberal and social democratic roots:-) I think your movement needs to realize that a political party is not a fan club. In order to be healthy it needs to thrive on diversity, encouraging cooperation and looking for common ground. Don't let your opponents define you as left, right or center, well don't let them define you at all, and you need to let your fellow Americans know, that "Liberal" is not a four letter word. Cheers Ole Nygaard, White Rock, British Columbia, Canada
