Reversing the Deception

9/24/22 My dear brother, I don't know if this will reach you, but here goes. After seeing a CNN special last night and observing a TX republican that has spouted the narrative God, Family & Country to give a 180 degree conversion of Dems to Rep's and the rush of Republican leadership to hide behind this farce; I thought it was worth the try to reach out to you to unveil this farce. Between you Van Jones & pastor Warnock I don't think it's too late to get the White House to get commercials out that would address the other platforms that these well meaning Christians are missing. I'm Wes Mullings - sexgodsway.com

I live in a County where felons are rampant. Not a Black issue, but an everyone issue.

My thought is that many Court appearances could be avoided if Citations were issued rather than automatic desire to "punish" beyond reason, and to collect huge fees for Court appearances and fines beyond reason. Likewise, the issue of Black as an automatic systemic prejudice, it goes beyond that to the prejudice for many reasons of , especially young, Cops. Any reason is a good reason to expand one's resume. The Police and the Judicial members have close ties and spend a great deal of time discussing their thoughts and opinions concerning any person who is accused. Preparations for a trial are laughable. I've been there and was actually laughed at. Trial preparations and the cost of time and effort could be reduced by simply issuing citations for many infractions.

An ex cop with a story to tell

I really would like my story to be told on the Redemption Project and why this person wanted to kill me. This happened in 2009 and I was working for Inglewood Police Dept. I also thinks it’s important that Police agencies take the time to go into juvenile halls and the prisons and talk to the people and see what there opinion are on how that relationship can be better. I think real communication can make the relationships better, especially white cops and why they are so quick to use deadly force instead of making the situation more calm and having a conservation.

Think mentorship should be more available

I started an organization.. got the back-office going all by myself, got a website up for it and even started a Kickstarter campaign to fund the core to the brainchild I think would work. I remember when #fightdifferent and #reform started.. was and remains the organizations inspiration.. culture, business, sports, etc. .. those institutions are inspiring and I just think there should be more help to grow momentum because with my very limited resources I’ve gotten good feedback from a very small group. If I had guidance and or mentorship.. I would really sprout fast. Everyone needs inspiration and is influenced. Sometimes it’s discouraging because I just can’t figure out how to reach a broader audience with my story or implement my ideas . I did 8 years for a violent crime that had no violence involved, etc. very interesting if I may say so myself. I’m all in, and I’d really appreciate any guidance or resources you may see fit. I really just want to be heard. I have experience, problems and practical solutions.

(CNN) First, let me say where I agree with clerk Kim Davis, the Kentucky clerk who refuses to grant marriage licenses to same sex couples in defiance of the U.S. Supreme Court's recent ruling. I, too, believe that each individual has the moral duty to defy any law that he or she deems unjust. Of course, he or she must do so nonviolently. And he or she must do so publicly, willingly accepting all the legal and personal consequences. These two requirements separate the nonviolent dissenter from the terrorist or the common criminal, who scheme in the darkness and do everything they can... ... more

(CNN) Many observers are perplexed by the decision of some Black Lives Matter activists to twice disrupt attempted addresses by presidential hopeful Sen. Bernie Sanders. Well, I am not perplexed. The new generation of civil rights activists never accepted "trickle-down economics" from conservatives. Today they are rejecting "trickle-down justice" from the liberals. I love and admire Sanders. But until the Black Lives Matters activists started snatching away their microphones, economic populists like him rarely spotlighted the specific pain that has been building in the African-American community. Instead, they focused mainly on so-called "class issues" -- including the need to defend Social... ... more

(CNN) The process of winnowing candidates to participate in the Republican primary debate is deserving of all the ridicule thrown its way. But here's the worst part: Thursday's debate will include a carnival barker who grabs headlines by throwing racial bombshells. But it will exclude a former governor who is demonstrating that conservative principles can reach across racial and party lines. To be sure: Former Texas Gov. Rick Perry is not my cup of tea, personally. After all, his main economic achievement is a flood of low-wage jobs not fit to support a family. His approach to detaining immigrants, especially children, in poor conditions in private... ... more
