I find it sad – but not surprising – that in the midst of discussions regarding prison and immigration reform, racism and terrorism, and all other forms of violence, suffering and hurt, that one of the most recognizable and privileged of western society’s men, and the current commerce secretary says he doesn't "...really quite understand why" federal workers are utilizing food banks and contemplating or choosing not to go to work “unpaid” and that "...credit should be easily available”. Like many of the privileged, however that privilege was earned (if at all), who we truly are is often best seen not just in what we do and say, but often in what we do not…GOD help and forgive us!
