Van Jones and CNN should be commended for their work with the “ Redemption Project”. It is moving, inspiring, real, and an example of how to do things differently to accomplish healing in the hearts of the imperfect humains who make big mistakes and the innocent people that it so deeply effects. The healing is palpable. Although this is not a unique project, it’s supplementary value is that it shares this process, this extraordinarily transformative experience with millions of viewers. It invokes reflexion, compassion and the desire to make this imperfect world better for all human beings. And for me personally it helps to bring me closer to what I thought was impossible, understanding why people do such unimaginable harm to others. Everyone has a story, everything has a reason, even the incomprehensible. God bless you Van Jones and thank you CNN, for doing your part to make this world a kinder more compassionate place to navigate.
