Housing Crisis in California

There is a housing crisis in Northern California, the bay area to be exact. People of all racial and socio economic backgrounds are being priced out of the housing market, buyers and renters. While everyone isn't earning six figures in upwards of $300,000 seeing a one bedroom apartment rent for $2500-$3000 for only 700 sq feet in the hood will make you think. The price is five to six thousand in San Francico....with landlords vying for tech employees. We've lost 25% of our teachers due to housing prices, we need help now!
