Endless Budget Fighting - What would JFK do?

Watch JFK's speech at Yale University in 1962 - in other words, our problems are too complex to be solved by ideology, we need the best of all business, government and academic leaders and stakeholders to define solutions that benefit the nation overall...to use funding the national budget as a last desperate measure does not recognize the substantial and significant cost to the nation...we have already lost our AAA credit rating, who wants to lose more? Lastly, what would JFK do on health care...watch JFK's 1963 speech at Madison Square Garden on the "new" Medicare legislation...how many times do we have to "learn" the same thing, debate past agreement? 50 years later, our politics seem to be more like 1913 than 2013...
